North South University Accounting Club (NSUACC), in collaboration with the Department of Accounting & Finance (DAF), proudly announces the launch of its flagship international case competition — “UCB Presents ACCOLYZE,” co-sponsored by HeadStart and in association with Shawarma Damasco.
Guided by the tagline “Debit the Challenge, Credit the Win,” this pioneering event aims to foster analytical rigor, global collaboration, and practical financial acumen among undergraduate accounting students. ACCOLYZE is set to make history as Bangladesh’s first-ever international accounting-based case competition for undergraduates, further reinforcing the country’s growing role in global academic and professional development.
Open to students worldwide, this competition provides a unique platform to sharpen problem-solving skills and engage in strategic thinking through a three-round format. Participants will benefit from an exclusive in-person workshop at the NSU campus, where industry leaders and financial experts will offer mentorship and insight.
Registration for the competition opens on June 15, 2025, and will remain open until July 3, 2025. Participation is open to teams comprising 2 to 4 current undergraduate students, with cross-university teams also eligible. Registration is completely free of cost, making it accessible to aspiring participants from all backgrounds. Competitors will vie for a total prize pool of BDT 4,00,000, with the Champion team receiving BDT 2,00,000, the 1st Runners-Up earning BDT 1,25,000, and the 2nd Runners-Up awarded BDT 75,000.
