One of China’s major appliance manufacturers, Midea, was co-founded by He Xiangjian. His net worth was assessed to be $32.1 billion by Bloomberg Billionaires Index in September 2021, putting him in 51st place in the index. The company is founded by He Xiangjian that has grown to become one of the world’s largest appliance manufacturers. In 1968, he organized a group of 23 citizens from Beijiao to establish Midea. Midea Group, whose stock is traded on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, now has over 200 subsidiaries, including Kuka, a robotics company based in Germany. In 2012, he retired from the company’s activities. He Jianfeng, his son, is a Midea Group and Midea Real Estate Holding director.

According to Forbes Magazine’s list of the world’s most influential people, Son is the 45th most powerful person on the planet. Previously, Son was ranked 32nd on Forbes’ list of The World’s Billionaires 2020.
