Mohammad Tanvir Hossain ACCA, ACMA, CGMA has joined Guardian Life Insurance as the Head of Finance and Accounts with an impressive 19 years of professional experience spanning multinational and local entities.
Mr. Hossain brings to Guardian Life Insurance a wealth of expertise in financial reporting, budgeting and costing, internal control and compliance, process optimization, risk management, operational excellence, and governance work programs. His robust background and dynamic leadership in finance are set to steer Guardian Life Insurance towards new heights of financial success and stability.
Mr. Hossain’s illustrious career began at Grameenphone Ltd., where he served as Manager of Finance from February 2005 to August 2015. His tenure at Grameenphone was followed by significant leadership roles, including Manager of Cost & Budget at Social Marketing Company Enterprise Ltd., Assistant General Manager of Finance & Accounts at BRAC, Head of Finance & Accounts at SureCash, Head of Finance at Evaly, Chief Financial Officer at Somatec Pharmaceuticals Ltd., and most recently, Financial Controller at UCB Fintech Company Ltd.
Mr. Hossain holds an MBA and a BBA, both majoring in Accounting & Information Systems, from the prestigious University of Dhaka. He is a distinguished member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), UK, and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK.
Throughout his career, Mr. Hossain has achieved key milestones, including pioneering and leading the various trainings such as ‘ Finance for Non-Finance Managers’ and ‘Business Communication for Leaders’ at different top corporates. His expertise has been recognized internationally, with features in the AB magazine and InCap magazine for his insightful articles on Financial and Economic landscape.
