Mr. Shariful Hossain Chowdhury: I have completed my graduation from B.G.C. Trust University CTG & Post Graduation from Port City International University CTG. After that, I have joined Robi Axiata’s Ltd. As a CSA at Customer Care. Then I started to work with Foodpanda BD within a very short time 6 months I got promoted to Cluster Coordinator. Then I started work with one of the leading supply chain & warehouse management companies in Bangladesh A.H. Khan & Co. where I got an opportunity to work with British American Tobacco. Then I started to work with Redx Logistics but due to some physical issues I couldn’t continue there for a long time & Now I am working with Pathao Ltd as an Assistant Manager at their Central Courier Ops dept.
Can you share a significant life experience or challenge that has shaped your career journey and approach to professional growth?
Certainly! My career journey seems quite dynamic and diverse, showcasing my adaptability and willingness to explore different industries and roles. One significant challenge I might have faced is transitioning between various sectors and roles, each with its unique demands and expectations.
For instance, moving from a role in customer service at Robi Axiata to a managerial position at Foodpanda BD within six months suggests a rapid progression and the ability to quickly learn and excel in new environments. This transition might have required me to develop strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage teams and operations in a fast-paced and competitive industry like food delivery.
Similarly, my experience at A.H. Khan & Co., where I had the opportunity to work with British American Tobacco, likely presented its own set of challenges, such as managing complex supply chain processes and meeting the high standards of a multinational corporation. This experience could have honed my strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and ability to thrive under pressure.
Moreover, facing physical issues during my tenure at Redx Logistics might have been a significant setback. It could have tested my resilience, determination, and ability to overcome obstacles while maintaining a positive attitude and seeking alternative solutions. This experience have taught me the importance of self-care, prioritizing health, and seeking support when needed.

Yes In my career my mentor is my ex-boss Sohanur Rahman who was the country manager of Pandamart operation at Foodpanda Bd. His Leadership, Strategic Thinking, Adaptability & Resilience, and mentorship provide guidance, support, and insights me to navigate my professional journey.
