Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden joined as a Silver Sponsor for the 8th Asian Tourism Fair, set to be held from 26th to 28th September at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB). The fair will be open to both, trade professionals as well as public visitors.
The fair has kick-started with a press conference held at the hotel on 24th September 2019. This exposition is supported by the Bangladesh Tourism Board and Parjatan Corporation. Special gratitude also goes to the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism and BIMSTEC for their endorsements of the event.
This year the trade show will see participation from eight regional nations comprising of 150 exhibitors. The fair will not only bring together sellers and buyers, but it will also create a platform for destination presentations, regional business opportunities and setting of new hospitality trends. Moreover, the event will also provide an exceptional networking platform creating regional tourism perspectives.
As the main hotel sponsor, Radisson Hotel Group will be represented by two properties: Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden and Radisson Blu Chattogram Bay View. All visitors will have an opportunity to purchase domestic promotions at discounted industry fares. On offer will be the hotel’s weekend cityscape packages, wedding promotions and some exciting, upcoming culinary events. Participants will also be able to purchase health club memberships and spa treatments at special rates including bulk discounts.
Activities during the expo will include photo exhibitions, skills’ conventions, seminars, and workshops. The seminars will cover topics like Tourism and Connectivity in BIMSTEC region, Bangladesh’s Competitiveness in the Hospitality Industry and many more. Speakers at the seminars include Dr. Damaru Ballabha Paudel, Director of BIMSTEC, Mr. Alexander Haeusler, General Manager of Radisson Blu Dhaka and many other renowned representatives from the hospitality industry.
The fair will be concluded with a Bangladesh Cultural Night offering exciting dance performances followed by a dinner to be held at the hotel’s Utshab Hall on Sept 28.
