Mercantile Bank launched seven new cards for its customers on its founding anniversary on June 8, 2022. The day marks the 23rd anniversary of the bank’s establishment. The bank’s Chairman, Morshed Alam, inaugurated seven new types of cards brought into the market at the bank’s head office in Dilkusha.
It was informed at the press conference that the unique feature of the seven new cards is that these cards with EMV technology can be transacted without touching. There are three Shariah-compliant debit and credit cards for Islamic banking customers. And for conventional banking customers, there are four credit and prepaid cards in Signature, Platinum, and Gold class.
The bank’s directors, ASM Firoz Alam, Akram Hossain, MA Khan Belal, Mohammad Abdul Awal, and managing director Kamrul Islam Chowdhury were present.
