Mr. Liakot Hossain, You are an idol to the youth. Many people follow you as an icon of leadership. Say something to them.

Your belief in me as an icon of leadership fills me with immense gratitude and responsibility. There is a famous quote:

“Life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we react to it.” – Charles R. Swindoll

My journey, as you’ve just learned, has been a series of diverse experiences and unexpected turns. From my military career and later transition into the corporate world, I’ve learned that leadership is about adaptability, resilience, and a relentless commitment to excellence. The path to success is rarely a straight line, and sometimes, life throws unexpected challenges on our way. My own transition from the military was a significant turning point. It taught me that true leadership lies in how we navigate such twists and turns, how we grow from setbacks, and how we continue to strive for greatness.

So, to all of you who aspire to be leaders, I offer this advice: Embrace change, embrace challenges, and never stop learning. Your journey will be unique, and the road may be tough at times, but it’s these experiences that shape you into the leader you are meant to be. It’s a journey of self-discovery, adaptability, and unwavering determination. The ability to lead arises from within, nurtured by your experiences and the choices you make in response to them.

Remember, leadership is not about titles or positions; it’s about the positive impact you can make on those around you. Stay committed to your values, be compassionate, and always strive for excellence in everything you do. Keep pushing forward, keep believing in yourself, and never stop pursuing your dreams.

When faced with adversity, remember that it’s not about the challenges themselves, but how you respond to them that truly defines your character. Embrace these moments as opportunities to grow, to evolve, and to become a stronger, more resilient leader.

“Believe in yourself, and all that you are. Know that there is something inside you that is greater than any obstacle.” – Christian D. Larson

If possible, work in a versatile work environment to learn and respect multicultural work environments. As a potential future leader, bring positive change in people and culture.
