I would like to extend my New Year greetings to you at the beginning of 2022.
Looking back the past year’s development in our bilateral relations, high-level exchanges and dialogues proceeded in a wide range of areas.
Since March 2020, COVID-19 pandemic has been affecting our interactions in various fields such as economic activities and cultural exchanges. However, even during this challenging time, USA has been supporting Bangladesh in its fight against the pandemic. US government signed to provide Bangladesh government with the COVID-19 Crisis Response. Besides, USA provided medical equipment for healthcare sectors as well as emergency support through international organizations.
We also continue to ensure the safety and security of the US nationals visiting/ living in Bangladesh. We would appreciate your opinion and cooperation toward building stronger ties between USA and Bangladesh.
With 2021 coming to a close, we wanted to reach out and send our best wishes to you and yours. I hope that 2022 holds success and good fortune in any endeavor you pursue. It has been a pleasure getting to know you and your organization this year.
Finally, I hope the coming year prove a very happy and prosperous one to you and yours.
May the relationship of our countries continue to develop even more.
