Ego Death Tour Ticket Sales Skyrocketed After The Slap

Since Will Smith’s slap in Oscars 2022, ticket sales and prices for Chris Rock’s 2022 Ego Death tour have risen. The comic has always been successful, but he’s become a household figure since Will Smith slapped him at the 94th Academy Awards for his GI Jane joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s baldness. Following this, Ego Death Tour Ticket Sales Skyrocketed After The Slap.

Although the incident was damaging to Chris and Will’s reputations, it was beneficial to the comedian’s business. Since the Oscars 2022, ticket sales for his impending Ego Death tour have soared, with many venues selling out within days of the event. Chris is scheduled to perform on March 30, only days after the Oscars debacle.

Moreover, since the incident with Will Smith, ticket prices for the comedian’s Ego Death Tour have increased significantly. According to The Daily Mail, ticket broker TickPick revealed that on the night following the Oscars, it sold more tickets for the comedian’s tour than it had in the previous month. The ticket vendor also reported that the cost of the cheapest ticket for the event in Boston rose from $46 to $314 on March 28.

Six shows are scheduled in the Boston Arena, and they are all sold out. Chris Rock’s Ego Death World Tour will kick out on March 30 and run through November 18. Ticketmaster and other platforms are available for purchase by fans. Seats for the event on April 9 at Borgata Event Center in Atlantic City, NJ, range from $121 to over $158, with VIP tickets costing around $300. The cost of the May 6 event at Caesars Palace’s The Colosseum ranges from $99 to more than $209. Aside from the United States, the comedian will perform in the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.
