Martyred Intellectuals Day Observed at SEU

Southeast University (SEU) observed Martyred Intellectuals Day with due solemnity on the campus. An online discussion program was held at 11:30 am with Adviser to BoT, SEU Trust, Prof. Dr. ANM Meshquat Uddin in the chair on Tuesday, 15 December 2020. Prof. Shamsuzzaman Khan, Bangabandhu Chair Professor, Islamic University & Chairman, Bangla Academy, and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Samad, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, University of Dhaka & Chairman, Jatiya Kobita Parishad addressed in the program. They said Intellectuals guided us during the Liberation War. We will have to put as much history as possible in the textbooks in order to keep the memories of the martyrs alive among the new generations.

Prof. Dr. M. A. Hakim, Dean, School of Arts & Social Sciences, SEU delivered the Welcome Speech. Among others, Members of BoT, Registrar, Deans, Chairmen, Faculty Members, Officials, and Students attended the program.
