Monisha Abraham is set to become the new Managing Director of BAT Bangladesh marking the first time a female will lead the company in its 114-year history. Having served as a Non-Executive Director on the BAT Bangladesh Board since March 2023, Monisha brings extensive experience from her role as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at Ceylon Tobacco Company PLC (CTC), a part of the BAT Group.
She has held various pivotal positions in transformation roles across multiple countries in Asia Pacific, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. throughout her career. She completed her MBA in Marketing and Finance from the Birla Institute of Technology, India, and her B.Com. from Jyoti Nivas College, India.
