Standing at the end of 2021, I would like to express something concerning Bangladesh. In the 50 years of victory, Bangladesh has come a long way. Bangladesh has achieved enviable success in various fields, including poverty alleviation, expansion of education, development of lifestyle, reduction of child and maternal mortality rate, and so on. Moreover, Digital Bangladesh has set an example to the world by making the dream a reality. As a result, the United Nations has recognized Bangladesh as a developing country.
Bangladesh has already become a role model for the rest of the world in the areas of intensive integrated management of natural disasters, utilization of microcredit, afforestation, and success in poverty alleviation; these make positive changes in social and economic indicators. According to the latest index, Bangladesh is now the 41st largest economy in the world!
According to a report of UK based economic research institute Centre for Economics and Business Research (CEBR), Bangladesh will be the 25th largest economy in the world by 2035 if the current economic development continues. This means that in the next 15 years, Bangladesh will be ranked 25th among 198 countries in the world.
Bangladesh ranks 50th out of 153 countries in the Global Gender Gap Index and 7th in women’s political empowerment. Work is underway to build 100 special economic zones, more than 25 high-tech parks, and IT villages across the country. If we want to achieve the dream of Digital Bangladesh properly, then there is no other way but to improve the people of the country technologically. Thanks and sincere gratitude to the Honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina.
Now it’s time to say something regarding ANYVAS. This platform is the first entrepreneur-based online marketplace; we officially started our journey on 3 October 2021. So far, we have selected and registered entrepreneurs. ANYVAS is finally launching its operation directly to the consumer on 16 December 2021 in Bangladesh. The negative impression of digital commerce has been created in people’s minds in recent times due to some unexpected reasons, but I believe that the negative thoughts will be overcome through the activities of ANYVAS. Therefore, I urge the responsible agencies of the government to be our perfect guide. We want to represent ANYVAS to the world as the pride of Bangladesh.
After working on ANYVAS for the last three (3) years, we brought it to the public now, because we wanted to come to the market with complete preparation. An industry with so much potential cannot be destroyed for some others’ mistakes. I firmly believe that ANYVAS will restore people’s confidence in digital commerce. That’s why our slogan is “Ensure Consumer Rights”. Moreover, ANYVAS is not limited by its virtual activities; we are actively aligned with the physical market. We are determined to ensure the employment of an enormous number of people by 2025. Therefore, ANYVAS will definitely play a constructive role in the economic development of the country and the building of Digital Bangladesh.
