Hi readers! I am Tabassum, and I am currently appointed as the Junior Content Writer at Kolpolok Limited. I graduated high school from Maple Leaf International School and am currently studying at BRAC University in CSE.
Since I am a very enthusiastic person, I wanted to pursue my interests somewhere, and hence, I chose to work for BU MONON as the Secretary of HR & EA for my extracurricular activities. I also like to participate in various competitions nationwide, especially those that require strategy and presentations.
My job at Kolpolok Limited came as a blessing to me during the pandemic, and I am forever grateful for that. The opportunity that I was given for my early career at Kolpolok is truly the pillar of whatever I am doing today. I learned a lot in the past 3 years at the company, as I worked alongside and under the blissful guidance of my colleagues and seniors, and am thankful to them for the constant support I’ve been receiving.

As a Content Writer at Kolpolok Limited, what approaches do you take to ensure that your written content resonates with your target audience and effectively communicates the company’s message?
Since I write blogs, articles, and newsletters to inform readers about different topics and my product requires branding as well, I try to put myself in their position and read a lot of competitive content to create something that will keep my readers hooked.
Our product, Symlex VPN, is a security service that constantly works to ensure users’ ultimate online safety. I primarily focus on the newest industry trends regarding VPNs and security services so my readers/users are aware and up-to-date with all the trends and innovations.
In the competitive landscape of content creation, how do you differentiate Kolpolok Limited’s content to stand out and maintain relevance in the market?
As I mentioned, I keep track of new trends and queries that interest people and try to make the content reader-friendly for all ages and nationalities. I also try to find Easter eggs in similar topics covered by others and include them in my own work.
How do you stay updated with industry trends and best practices in content writing, and how do you incorporate this knowledge into your work at Kolpolok Limited?
I mostly read a lot of content from multiple platforms, including research papers. I use various VPN apps as well to see what others have that we don’t and vice versa. I got through their content and find out what we need to make our content and our digital footprint strong and effective.
As a content professional, what strategies do you employ to ensure consistency and coherence across different types of content produced by Kolpolok Limited, such as blog posts, social media updates, and website copy?
I try to maintain the SEO requirements that will help us rank on Google and Bing and sustain for a long time. I do not plagiarize work—that is a given—and I use the bare minimum of AI just to polish my existing work. Readers might think it is wrong for a writer to use AI, but I’d say it is not true. Using AI strategically can ensure a much better quality of writing. After all, quality over anything else keeps both users and readers happy.
For social media, banners and captions are always made with love and enthusiasm for the product as a user first and employee second. This strategy keeps the readers interested and allows them to relate.
In your opinion, what role does storytelling play in effective content creation, and how do you incorporate storytelling techniques to engage and captivate Kolpolok Limited’s audience?

The most outstanding achievement of your life as of now:
In late 2022, I presented our product, Symlex VPN, for the BASIS National ICT Awards 2022, representing Kolpolok Limited in front of tech giants nationwide. Symlex VPN became the Champion in the Business Security category. This was a moment I will never forget, and it is an achievement I’m the most proud as of now.
The greatest philosopher in your view:
Haha! Does it have to be an actual philosopher, though? Because the person that comes to my mind is RM of BTS. He is a rapper with the mind of a poet and said many inspiring words that touched me and changed my point of view towards life. So, I’d rather choose him.
Your Icon:
Difficult choice! I think it will be our CEO, S M Nazmul Hasan. He is not only a very good leader, but he has also been an inspiring personality in my life, and I really want to follow his footsteps in the future.

I haven’t read much outside fiction, but I’m getting there. So far, it’s “The 4-hour Workweek” by Tim Ferris.

Communication is the most important hard skill right now. Alongside that, computers, data analysis, marketing, and sales are very important. So, pick your skill and flourish in it.

Leadership quality is appreciated. If you are a University student, it is recommended that you join clubs that match your interests. The extracurricular work that you do comes in handy a lot in the job field.
