Tata Motors wants to sell about 50,000 electric vehicles (EVs) in the current fiscal year 2022-23 (April-March). Besides, the Indian carmaker aims to double this number in the 2023-24 financial year. The company’s Chairman, Natarajan Chandrasekaran, outlined the target at a shareholder’s meeting. In the 2021-22 financial year, Tata Motors sold 19,105 units of EVs. This number is 353 percent more than the previous financial year.
