The Industrial and Infrastructure Development Finance Company (IIDFC) Limited Board of Directors recently elected three members to serve on the board for the next two years, which means 2022 & 2023.
Md. Ataur Rahman Prodhan, Managing Director of Sonali Bank Limited, has been elected as the new Chairman of Industrial and Infrastructure Development Finance Company (IIDFC). Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Managing Director of Mutual Trust Bank, has been elected as the company’s vice-chairman. At the same time, Selim RF Hossain, Managing Director, and CEO of BRAC Bank, has been selected as the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors.
Mr. Prodhan is a director of the main IIDFC. Prior to that, he was the Managing Director of Rupali Bank Limited and Prabasikalyan Bank. He is a board member of ICB, Padma Bank Limited, and CDBL. He is also the Vice-Chairman of the Association of Bankers, Bangladesh (ABB) and the Institute of Bankers, Bangladesh (IBB).
Syed Mahbubur Rahman is the Managing Director and CEO of Mutual Trust Bank. He is also the director of IIDFC. Earlier, he was the managing director of Dhaka Bank and BRAC Bank. Mahbubur Rahman is a former chairman of the Association of Bankers (ABB).
What’s more, BRAC Bank Managing Director Selim RF Hossain is the Director of IIDFC. Prior to that, he was the Managing Director and CEO of IDLC Finance Limited. In addition, Mr. Selim is the current Chairman of the Association of Bankers, Bangladesh (ABB).
