Bank Asia organized a day-long “BAMLCO Conference 2022” through a digital platform on January 15, 2022. For the Branch Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Officer (BAMLCO), Bank Asia organized “BAMLCO Conference 2022”.
Kazi Aktarul Islam, Executive Director of Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU), was the Chief Guest, Mr. Raaj Kumar Khetan, Regional KYC Policy Head, Citibank N.A., Singapore and, Md. Rokon-Uz-Zaman, Joint Director, BFIU, were the conference’s Special Guests.
Among others, Md. Arfan Ali, President & Managing Director of the Bank presided over the program and, Mohammad Ziaul Hasan Molla, Mr. Shafiuzzaman, and Mr. Alamgir Hossain, Deputy Managing Directors, were also present at the program.
In addition, Departmental Heads, Branch Heads, Islamic Windows Heads, and other officials totaling around 2,000 employees attended the conference.
Previously, Bank Asia organized foundation training courses to develop business officials. However, training is essential to Bank Asia to improve employees’ knowledge and abilities. Hence, they follow their path with a slogan of ‘For A Better Tomorrow.’
