A.R. Rahman, an Indian singer, will perform in Sher-E-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur, on March 29, 2022, to honor the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the Father of the Nation.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) had to postpone the event in 2020 due to the deadly disease, including a concert with the Academy Award-winning composer and two exhibition T20 matches between Asia and the World XI. The BCB, on the other hand, has opted to go forward with the concert this time.
The BCB has already requested time from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Aside from A. R. Rahman, the performance will include many well-known singers and musicians.
