Bangladesh’s Commerce Minister, Tipu Munshi, unveiled an ambitious annual export target of $72 billion for the current financial year, projecting a substantial 11.59 percent year-on-year increase.
The announcement was made during a press conference at the minister’s secretariat office in Dhaka. Additionally, the government has set a goal of reaching $10 billion in service exports for the fiscal year 2023-24, reflecting an 11.11 percent surge compared to the $9 billion achieved in FY23.
