HSBC Selects New CEO

As the Asia-focused bank continues to extend its investment across the region, HSBC announced on 14th February that Luanne Lim had been named the Chief Executive Officer of its Hong Kong division, its largest market. It is to inform that HSBC Selects New CEO.

Lim was designated interim chief executive in September after serving as the Hong Kong business’s chief operating officer since 2017, according to HSBC.

“This is an incredible time to be a member of HSBC as we increase our investment in Asia,” said Lim, who has 25 years of banking experience.

Over the next five years, HSBC plans to invest more than $6 billion in Asia, focusing on growing its wealth management division.
