Microsoft’s iconic browser, Internet Explorer, is coming to the end of its 27-year journey. Internet Explorer support will be discontinued from June 15, 2022. According to Microsoft officials, their new browser Edge has already replaced Internet Explorer. So, officially Internet Explorer To Shut Down After 27 Years.

Internet Explorer was launched in 1995. It was once so popular that it occupied 95 percent of all Internet browsers used worldwide. However, when that number dropped to just 2 percent, Microsoft decided in 2016 to stop working on the feature development of this browser. Earlier, in August 2021, support for Internet Explorer was discontinued from Microsoft 365.
