Southeast University Organized A Session

Southeast University (SEU) organized an online discussion session on 19 January, 2021 to celebrate the Homecoming Day of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Southeast University Organized A Session to celebrate.

Prof. Dr. ANM Meshquat Uddin, Adviser to BoT, SEU Trust presided over the program while Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique, Former Vice Chancellor, University of Dhaka graced the program as Chief Guest. Prof. Dr. MA Hakim, Dean, School of Arts & Social Sciences, SEU delivered the Welcome Speech. Among others, Registrar, Deans, Chairman and Directors of various departments, teachers, officials and students of SEU were present in the program.

Prof. Dr. AFM Mafizul Islam, Vice-Chancellor – Southeast University stated that the global pandemic has changed the circumstances a lot. It has impacted the educational systems worldwide. For fear of the further spread of diseases, most educational institutions have postponed their face-to-face teaching. The moment was very challenging.

Now, things are recovering. The government considered reopening educational institutions in phases, with universities set to be the first to resume in-person classes amid the Covid-19 pandemic. As many university teachers and students have either been fully vaccinated or will get both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine soon, in-person courses will begin in universities first.
