Amazon will hire 2,000 new employees in Spain in 2022. By the end of the year, the number of employees of the US retailer in the country will increase to 20,000. Among the recruits, about 500 will be taken in high-demand departments like engineering, software development, data science, and machine learning.
“We are incredibly proud to be able to create employment opportunities in Spain,” said Marianzella Marcelia, Vice President of Amazon and General Manager of Spain and Italy.
