Bank Asia Ltd. signed an agreement with Bangladesh Development Bank Limited (BDBL) to widen foreign remittance services. Mr. Adil Chowdhury, President & Managing Director of Bank Asia Ltd, and Mr. Kazi Alamgir, Managing Director & CEO, BDBL, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations in a signing ceremony held at Bank Asia Tower, Karwan Bazar, Dhaka, recently. Under this agreement, Bank Asia will use BDBL’s banking channel (i.e., branch network) to provide remittance services through Western Union. In addition, BDBL will act as the sub-agent of Bank Asia for providing foreign remittance services to its customers across the country.
