Alibaba Group has laid off 40 percent of its workers as the Ukraine crisis has disrupted cross-border trade. In addition, AliExpress, a joint venture launched with Alibaba and its Russian partners, has laid-off workers from Russia. According to a source close to the matter, some employees of the Chinese e-commerce giant have left voluntarily, and some have been transferred.
